At The Village Educational Institute, our mission is to provide accessible, bilingual, and culturally sensitive Training and Supervision for candidates in the field of ABA. Led by Lydia Ortiz, BCBA, we deliver personalized supervision that meets BACB standards while fostering professional confidence, competence, and compassion. Our goal is to prepare ethical ABA professionals who create meaningful change in the lives of their clients and the communities they serve.

The Village Educational Institute provides individualized, bilingual supervision, assessment, and professional development for current and future behavior-analysis professionals. Services are available in English and Spanish and are designed to promote ethical practice, clinical competence, and professional confidence.
BCBA and BCaBA Fieldwork Supervision
BCBA and BCaBA Fieldwork Supervision
Personalized remote and in-person supervision for trainees completing supervised fieldwork toward BCBA or BCaBA certification. Supervision may include individual and group meetings, real-time feedback, ethical decision-making, documentation guidance, clinical skill development, and support with restricted and unrestricted fieldwork activities. Services are structured to align with applicable BACB requirements.

RBT Initial Competency Assessment
RBT Initial Competency Assessment
Initial Competency Assessments are available for RBT candidates who have completed a qualifying 40-hour training program and are preparing to apply for certification. Assessments are conducted by a qualified BCBA in accordance with current BACB requirements and are available in English or Spanish.

Individualized mentorship and professional training are available for students, RBTs, trainees, and other ABA professionals. Topics may include ethics, data collection, clinical documentation, assessment, caregiver collaboration, supervision, and evidence-based practices. Career guidance is also available to help professionals navigate fieldwork, workplace challenges, certification preparation, and long-term professional goals.

CEUs Coming September 2027
We’re excited to announce that Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be available through The Village Educational Institute starting September 2027!
Our CEU offerings will focus on ethics, supervision, cultural competence, and evidence-based practices designed to support BCBAs, BCaBAs, and other ABA professionals in maintaining certification and advancing their skills.
