Mission
At The Village Educational Institute, our mission is to provide accessible, bilingual, and culturally sensitive Training and Supervision for candidates in the field of ABA. Led by Lydia Ortiz, BCBA, we deliver personalized supervision that meets BACB standards while fostering professional confidence, competence, and compassion. Our goal is to prepare ethical ABA professionals who create meaningful change in the lives of their clients and the communities they serve.

Our vision is to become a trusted leader in ABA education by empowering future BCBAs, BCaBAs & RBTs through high-quality, remote & in-vivo supervision. We aim to build a supportive, inclusive learning community where every trainee receives the tools, mentorship, and ethical foundation needed to succeed in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Remote & In-Person Supervision: Personalized supervision for BCBA and BCaBA candidates completing their fieldwork hours, available both virtually and face-to-face.
Initial Competency Assessment for RBT Candidates: We offer the Initial Competency Assessment required by the BACB for individuals pursuing RBT certification, conducted by a qualified BCBA.
Bilingual Supervision: Supervision services offered in both English and Spanish to support diverse learners.
Individual & Group Supervision Sessions: Structured opportunities to meet BACB requirements while developing clinical and ethical skills.
Professional Development & Trainings: Workshops on core ABA topics, ethics, and best practices to enhance your knowledge and professional growth.
Mentorship & Career Guidance: Ongoing support to help candidates build confidence, navigate challenges, and prepare for a successful career in behavior analysis.
We’re excited to announce that Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be available through The Village Educational Institute starting September 2025!
Our CEU offerings will focus on ethics, supervision, cultural competence, and evidence-based practices—designed to support BCBAs, BCaBAs, and other ABA professionals in maintaining certification and advancing their skills.
